Our Founder

“We are a social enterprise; it's about making a lasting difference.”

Our vision is to help organisations optimise their people, by using autistic neurodivergence to increase value, whilst providing the autistic community with meaningful employment.

Our founder, Ritu Kiran-Jackson, enjoyed a corporate career for many years, having started her career working for one of the major global Management Consultancy firms, Accenture. She specialized in HR consulting and HR projects and worked for several clients, including (but not limited to), Zurich Insurance, Lloyds Bank, Barclays Bank, BMW/Mini, BG Group etc. She then moved into Global Learning and Development for Rentokil Initial before finding space within HR Operations for Virgin Media, Gilead Sciences and most recently GoDaddy.

During her corporate career, in 2016, she took her maternity leave after giving birth to her first child, her son Kyan. In 2018, aged 2, Kyan was diagnosed with Autism. Having little knowledge on the subject, Ritu began to research, network and understand more about autism.

One year later, in 2019, she suffered from a horrific near-death experience. And once recovered, she could clearly see her mission in life… to marry her corporate skills with her passion to help the autistic community. And so, Aubilities was born.
